Ag. Managing Director / CE

Gbenga Yerokun is an Accounting graduate of University of Ilorin and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995. He joined Intercontinental Bank Plc in November 1997 and has held various management positions including Regional Operations Manager, Branch Head and Group Executive in charge of Central Operations of the bank. He was seconded to Intercontinental Securities Ltd as the Chief Operating Officer in December 2008 and currently the Ag. Managing Director/CEO. He brought along with him over 17 years banking experience with deep knowledge in Control, Marketing, Branch Management and Operations.

Divisional Head, Business Development and Capital Market Division

Wemi Jones is the Divisional Head, Business Development and Capital Market Division. He holds a Higher National Diploma from the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin. He is an Associate of both the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. Mr. Jones joined Intercontinental Securities Limited in 2005 with over 12 years banking experience.

Divisional Head, Operations and Compliance Division

Akinsode Adetomiwa is the Divisional Head, Operations and Compliance Division. He is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Accounting. He joined the Company in year 2001 as the Head, Risk Management/Audit after a 17year stint at First Bank of Nigeria Plc. He is currently the Divisional Head, Operations & Compliance Division.

Group Head, Legal Management and Services

Abiodun Oni is the Now Group Head, Legal Management and Services. He is a graduate of Law from the Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. He has over the years accumulated wealth of experience in legal matters. He joined the Company in June 2004.

Group Head Funding and Branch Businesses

Adenike Adebayo is the Group Head, Funding and Branch Businesses, a graduate of Accounting from University of Lagos with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing. She is an Associate Member of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria, Associate Certified Customer Service Professional of the Customer Service Institute, USA. She joined Intercontinental Bank in 1999 and was later seconded to Intercontinental Securities Limited in year 2000.

Group Head, Financial Control and Investment Management

Godfrey Idon is the Group Head, Financial Control and Investment Management. He holds a higher National Diploma from Auchi Polytechnic and MBA marketing from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He joined the company in 2005.

Group Head, Internal Control

Femi Sodipo is the Group Head, Internal Control and he holds a Higher National Diploma which he obtained from Abiola Polytechnic Ojere, Abeokuta. He is an Associate member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered). Micheal Sodipo joined Intercontinental Bank Plc. in March 2000 as a resident Controller and was redeployed to Intercontinental Securities Ltd. in October 2009 as the Group Head, Internal Control.
